James Gallahan grew up in Virginia just outside Washington, DC. He spent his childhood playing sports and exploring the nearby woods.
After earning his Psychology degree at George Mason University, he worked as an analyst in the private and public sectors.
James has short stories published in Cat & Mouse Press and Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group Anthologies, Pilcrow and Dagger Literary Journal, and Issue 4 of Next Page Ink Literary & Arts Magazine. Grey Wolfe Publishing selected one of his stories as the winner of their June 2018 monthly contest. He was a finalist in Writer’s Digest May 2018 Your Story contest. His short story, “Tiny Solves the Case,” in Beach Mysteries won a Judges Award. “Missing in Rehoboth,” in Beach Pulp was a semi-finalist in the 2019 ScreenCraft Short Story contest.
Married with two grown sons. James loves writing stories, and rooting for Liverpool FC.
